There is certainly a lot happening during this beautiful (and rainy) Lenten Season. Hopefully this will be a time for all of us to reflect on what is good in our lives and realize how much He loves us. Easter will be here before we know it, and the month of March is filled with activities. On Friday, March 23rd, our 8th graders will be performing Shadow Stations at 2:00pm and 7:00pm. This is a beautiful way for us to reflect on Jesus' agonizing walk to his crucifixion. I highly recommend you to come to one of the performances.

We are just about finished with another epic Catholic Schools Week! It has been a fun-filled week of so many wonderful activities. It was apparent that the staff loved the events as much as the students. It is also obvious that this environment embodies a love for our faith and one another. We had a lot of visitors, and I am hoping that they felt the presence of Christ. This week especially, that fun and loving atmosphere is even more prominent. I want to make sure I congratulate the 8th graders on their win against the staff!

Now that we are over half way done with the first marking period, I would like to thank the entire St. Gregory School community for this smooth beginning. This is already turning out to be a great year. The students are hard at work, and the teachers are creating exciting lessons. Everyone worked so hard on the Iowa testing, and I am so proud of them. This was very different from previous years, because we typically test in the spring. When we receive the results, we will share them with you.
